We are looking for a Senior Learning Designer to build learning solutions across a variety of formats for a known Government dept. Contract role till Jan 2025 with possible extension. Daily pay rate $850/day Super. Hybrid work (WFH Parramatta office). 8 hours a day. 40 hours a week. Immediate start PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: You will be responsible for building all learning materials for both in-person and digital learning modules ensuring they align with the learning strategy, learning outcomes and are user friendly. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Design, develop and create, instructor lead, face-to-face and e-learning course content to build key capabilities for the learning audience. Manage key stakeholder relationships, developing quality learning solutions. Provide expert advice on learning design, programs and initiatives to support the growth of a high-performance culture. Design, develop and manage learning solutions and content in compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide the seamless transfer of learning solutions and content to other teams for effective implementation, assessment and evaluation. Undertake learning needs assessment, to assist with developing learning strategies and frameworks, for non-teaching staff. Contribute to the establishment of evaluation and regular reporting processes to track the delivery and identification and escalation of emerging or existing risks that may jeopardise the implementation of learning solutions or programs. Produce reports on the progress of programs and initiatives in meeting agreed objectives, to inform management decision making. Actively participate with team members in the assessment and utilisation of new or updated learning design methodologies to identify opportunities. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Adult Learning, Human Resources, , or a relevant discipline. Experience in designing and developing learning materials, resources, and course content. Articulate 360 Storyline, Rise and Camtasia skills is desirable. Demonstrated experience in applying a range of learning design frameworks and methodologies, including applying instructional design, human centred-design, design thinking, adult education principles and approaches in the design and development of learning content and programs. Extensive demonstrated experience in the use of Articulate Storyline 360, and other eLearning authoring and collaborative tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, or Creative Cloud is desirable. Demonstrated experience in developing and structuring online content and activities for learning in a Learning Management System. Strong ability to create and develop accessible, relevant and engaging learning content for online, face-to-face and blended learning mediums. High level communication, collaboration, interpersonal and organisational skills. Well-developed project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
