THE OPPORTUNITY: Our first 18 months as part of the Epiroc Group is here and we are expanding We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Manufacturing Electrician to join our high performing team based at our Perth Electrical Workshop, WA . This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to secure long term work whilst earning excellent rates. WHAT WE’RE OFFERING: Permanent full-time role, working a flexible weekly roster: 5/2, 9 day fortnight or 4/3 Potential for overtime shifts Career Progressive Training & Education Competitive Wage Rates A friendly motivated team culture Your day will consist of: Mentor and development of apprentices and trade assistants Board and Panel control wiring Fault finding of LV/ELV AC/DC Circuits Commercial/Industrial Installs Occasional project works, local and FIFO, with living away from home allowances paid JTMEC is committed to providing industry leading training to it’s employees, with training opportunities in a number of areas including: High Voltage Terminations High Voltage Switching Battery Electric Vehicle Training Fibre Optic Training Project Management Instrumentation Dogging & Rigging As well as providing individualised training plans for our team members. WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE: Current Western Australian Electrical and Driver's Licence Experience in manufacturing and project installation practises Knowledge and application of AS/NZS 3000:2018; Commitment to a ZERO harm culture Strong fault-finding ability and ability to read and interpret drawings Self-motivated who is reliable, honest and takes pride in your work Ability to work both as a member of a team, as well as independently Experience in manufacturing practises PREFERRED ALTHOUGH NOT ESSENTIAL: Working Safely at Heights HV Switching Confined Space Ticket High Risk Work License - WP LVR/CPR ABOUT THE REWARD You will be rewarded with attractive employment conditions and wage rates backed by a successful company who firmly believe that ' our people are our strength'.
