N Position Type Non-Management As Sales Executive of Adelaide Marriott, you will be responsible to source, secure, and maximise total revenue for across the MICE and social segments, with a focus on converting catering related business opportunities for this brand new hotel. You will be passionate and motivated to deliver our brand values by providing an honest and authentic experience for our customers and guests. Position Summary: - Respond to new group and catering opportunities, with a focus on converting catering and social business. - Identifies, qualifies and solicits new group/catering business to achieve personal and each property's revenue goals. - Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements . - Develops effective catering sales plans and actions. - Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, creating intimate and distinctive experiences to enable future bookings - Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion - Maximizes revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage. - Understands the overall market - competitors, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. - Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts. - Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels such as Marriott Market Sales and Marriott Global Sales to ensure the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.
