The position requirements include but are not limited to: General electrical maintenance & repairs Capital project works and continuous improvement tasks Mechanical fault finding, machine adjustments and basic fabrication tasks Strictly following all required OH&S procedures To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following: An A Grade Electrical Licence essential Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a meat processing or similar FMCG manufacturing environment Proven experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley), VSD’s, HMI’s, SCADA etc. An understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required Hours & Rates Day shift: 6am-2pm Afternoon shift: 2pm-10pm (15% shift loading applies) Night shift: 10pm-6am (30% shift loading applies) $55-$60 p/h (negotiable depending on experience) shift loading overtime super new tools & tool chest provided You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
