Science Teacher — North Sydney, North Sydney Area

Wenona is seeking enthusiastic Science teachers, specialising in Physics, Biology and Chemistry to join our Science faculty. The Position Teaching general science, as well Physics, and/or Biology and Chemistry. Committing to Pastoral Care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students. Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community. Collaborating and contribute to a team and faculty of professional educators. Utilising ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom. The roles are permanent full-time, starting Term 1 2025. We are seeking one Physics Teacher and one Biology/Chemistry Teacher. For more details about the role and requirements, please refer to the attached role description. About You To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and experience teaching Science, with a focus on Physics, Biology and Chemistry for senior students. You will display a strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and the marking processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. This will allow you to effectively educate and build strong relationships with our students, setting them up for success in the future.
