Office Coordinator (Legal) — Nedlands, Nedlands Area

Play a pivotal role in ensuring a structured and coordinated approach to legal services and information governance within the University. Full-time appointment on a permanent/ongoing basis. Base salary range (Level 7): $95,737– $106,223 p.a. plus 17% superannuation. About the area The Governance Directorate is responsible for providing the University with legal and governance advice and services. The Governance Directorate currently comprises nineteen people working in four teams, being the Legal Team, the Information Governance Team, the Secretariat and the Administration Team. The Administration Team comprises this position and a paralegal. The paralegal reports to this position. This position reports to the Director of Governance, who is also the University’s General Counsel. About the opportunity You will work closely with the Director of Governance to provide senior level administrative and operational support for the Governance Directorate. You will also line manage the paralegal. About you Substantial and extensive relevant senior administrative experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills with a proven ability to set priorities and meet strict deadlines within a busy practice. Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
