Full-time or Part-time temporary position Effective from Term 3, Monday 22 July 2024 International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational school situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe and Kangaroo Valley. There are 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment. We are seeking two qualified and passionate HSIE teachers to cover for staff on leave on either a full or part time basis. The full-time position is for Term 3 only and the part-time position (0.8FTE, over four days) is for Terms 3 and 4. To be successful in this role you will have a passion for the teaching of HSIE subjects, a thorough understanding of the related NSW Syllabuses, well-developed technology skills and the capacity to create engaging, differentiated learning experiences and inspire in your students a love of learning. As a dedicated teacher, with a strong academic background, you will be exemplary in your professionalism and collegiality, performing your role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy. Capacity to teach across Stages 4 to 5 in History, Commerce and Geography is required.
