We are looking for a remarkable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead, guide and coach our team to success Crystalbrook Kingsley has transformed Newcastle’s former Council Administration Centre into an elegant and sophisticated 130-room five-star hotel with a signature rooftop bar and restaurant, lobby bar and café, and two private meeting venues. With the City Hall Civic Theatre, Newcastle Art Gallery and War Memorial moments away, Kingsley is culturally connected, celebrating what has been and what is to come. Your responsibilities include: Supervise the Housekeeping team to ensure effective systems and operational procedures including daily checklists are actioned Drive Rooms and Public Areas guest satisfaction across all outlets empowering our collaborators to provide service beyond our guests expectations Deliver hands-on supervisory leadership across your areas Ensure collaborators are following safe equipment systems, using PPE when handling cleaning chemicals and ensure material safety data sheets (MDS) are accessible Collaborate closely with Front Office and all other areas of the hotel Assist in on-the-job department training to ensure all collaborators meet our high service standard Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments of our Hotel Promote the company health and well-being processes and procedures Your many talents will include: Proven experience in a Supervisory role in housekeeping operations in the hotel industry Strong leadership skills and a natural flair in motivating others A passion for developing your team skills in all aspects of onboarding and training Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with our guest service focus Your attention to detail is second to none Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work and make decisions under pressure The benefits of working for us We will encourage you will thrive in a supportive environment whilst enjoying a range of benefits.
