We think a pretty good job starts here……… About the role: As the Legal and Governance Administrator, your key responsibility will be to provide confidential and legal secretarial support and administrative services to assist the operation of our Legal and Governance Branch. In this busy and varied position, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provide support to the General Counsel in allocation of work, management of electronic files and liaising with internal stakeholders to confirm assignment of matters. Assisting with the logistics, record keeping and draft reports for compliance and internal audit functions. Perform legal secretarial services including proof reading, word processing, record management, information systems, purchase order and invoice management for external legal services, and the provision of timely and accurate information in response to internal and external enquiries. Arranging meetings and interfacing with internal clients and external service providers. Assist in the distribution of work throughout the team and file management. Preparation of a variety of internal and regulatory forms and processes. Demonstrate your record of maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity. Demonstrate excellence in proof reading, document formatting and record keeping. Ideally have an understanding of the compliance and internal audit programs and reporting. Strong skills in MS Office Suite and PowerPoint, coupled with a high level of attention to detail and proof-reading skills are essential. High level of time and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to exercise sound initiative and judgement in dealing with sensitive issues.
