As a Contracts Administrator, you will provide essential contract management and commercial support within our project teams. You'll ensure the smooth execution of contracts, mitigating risks, and maximizing value for our groundbreaking hydro energy storage projects. Who Will You Be Working With? You will be part of a publicly owned entity established by the Queensland Government. The mission is to design, deliver, operate, and maintain long-duration pumped hydro energy storage assets. These assets are vital to achieving Queensland's renewable energy targets of 70% by 2032, 80% by 2035, and net-zero emissions by 2050. Opportunities for professional growth and development. What Will You Be Doing? Your key responsibilities will include: Managing contracts and administration for major projects. Liaising with clients, contractors, and project team members. Formulating contracts based on estimates, budgets, and timeframes. Ensuring compliance with tender requirements and providing advice. Providing commercial counsel and leadership within the project team. Managing contractual correspondence, notices, and claims. Supporting project delivery on time and within budget. Assisting legal teams with contract-related issue resolution. Keeping internal and external stakeholders updated on contract status. Managing contractual risks, variations, and claims to protect value. What Do You Need? Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Management, or a related field. Post-Graduate level qualifications or significant applied experience. Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role. Sound knowledge of contract principles. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines. Strong stakeholder relationship building skills. Understanding of infrastructure project delivery workforce requirements. Strong numeracy and financial skills. Willingness to travel to and attend project sites regularly. Ability to respond to stakeholder requests at short notice.
