About the role As a result of the company winning a number of new projects the opportunity has arisen for experienced Contract Administrators to join their construction team, reporting to the Construction Manager. Working collaboratively with both site and project teams you will manage and coordinate projects from design to completion whilst staying within budget, timeline and scope. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the construction team and will be required to work closely with the project and construction manager Key responsibilites Administration of head contract including claims, variations, EOTs and RFIs. Administration of subcontracts including claim assessment, variations. Preparation of documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works. Tender analysis and recommendations. Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers. Preparation of subcontracts including detailed scope of works. Produce financial information to accurately manage the construction budget. Liaison with site staff and monitoring of site progress. Provide regular status updates to the Construction Manager for all facets of the projects. Preparation of quantities and take off as required Skills and experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role ยท Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar Thorough knowledge of contracts Strong negotiation skills Ability to interpret design documents Excellent time management and organisational skills Innovative and flexible in problem solving Sound level of interpersonal and communication skills Extensive experience in tender processes and trade procurement.
