More about the Role; Our Central Operations team is the conduit between our dynamic retail footprint around Australia and our support office in Abbotsford. There has never been a more exciting time to join our Central Operations Group than now. This role reports to the Head of Retail Operations to support our BAU operation which is a constant stream of activity. You will also be an integral member of our retail projects support team working closely with internal stake holders across the MFG business. We are looking for a leader with a passion for retail and experience managing a variety of retail driven strategic projects. The Retail Operations Consultant is responsible for: Supporting day-to-day coordination of operational activities and retail administration. Providing Retail Teams with operational policy and procedure support, ensuring all communication is correct, consistent and accessible. Developing, reviewing and implementing operational policies and procedures which improve efficiencies, establish best practice and/or reduce cost. Supporting business transformation projects as the retail subject matter expert while understanding the interconnections with MHub departments. Ensuring effective management of tasks More about You. We are looking for a strong, natural communicator with the ability to support the project team and build collaborative relationships across our internal retail teams . This role will suit an experienced retail professional with exposure to driving efficiencies and projects within their current role. What you will need to succeed; Minimum 3 years' experience within a similar role Extensive experience in the retail industry (would suit a background in area management with the remit of managing and prioritising critical tasks) Project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications in retail, operational, or service-related industry Experience collaborating with teams Knowledge of Change Management methodologies and tools Proven organisational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritise effectively Proficient in MS Office products, with strong written and communication skills Open mindset for new ways of working, ability to adapt, being curious, challenge status quo, focus delivery on value and prioritisation. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills. We want you to grow and mature with the rest of the organisation.
