Role Overview: Are you ready to lead the construction of critical wastewater treatment plants and drive excellence in infrastructure development? We're searching for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With your expertise and leadership, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of wastewater management in Australia. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Lead the construction of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Australian Experience: Utilize your expertise in Australian wastewater treatment plant construction to navigate regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and local best practices. Brownfield Experience: While not mandatory, experience in brownfield construction projects is preferred. Your ability to manage the complexities of existing infrastructure and site conditions will be invaluable. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and address any concerns or challenges that arise. Safety Compliance: Prioritise safety at all times, implementing robust safety protocols and procedures to protect the well-being of workers and the community. Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules, identify potential risks and delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure construction activities adhere to design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Required Skills and Competencies Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on wastewater treatment plant construction in Australia. Tertiary qualification in any engineering discipline, including civil engineering. Experience in brownfield construction projects is preferred but not mandatory. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Availability to join the team starting June 2024.
