A great opportunity has come up for a hybrid role that is the perfect chance for someone to combine their trade sales skills and overtime, step up to an account management position, by servicing larger customers out onsite and providing an over and above level of customer service. With two busy stores already in operation, this position will be located at their flagship store in Thomastown. Description Reporting to the owner and working alongside a small but highly supportive team, the responsibilities of the role include: Servicing both retail & trade customers in a timely & friendly manner. This includes stock, parts, repair status & quotations. Create opportunities to increase existing customers spend with FSS Attend trade nights when necessary (however these are not regular) Count and verify inward goods. All order/goods are to be invoiced as soon as possible Ensure that all data in MYOB is accurate. This includes all quotes, orders & invoices. Ensure that banking/invoicing procedures are strictly adhered to. Complete a cyclic stock take once a week. Profile As well as having an upbeat, motivated attitude, the preferred candidate profile will have: Proven and committed sales focus with the drive to exceed customer expectations Outstanding customer service skills that come naturally and authentically Experience in retail - Trade counter sales or time on a trade site will be highly beneficial (not essential) Be well presented, have a good phone manner and possess outstanding communication skills Be able to work with minimal supervision and have an eye for detail Be able to perform at your peak under pressure Ability to confidentially engage with customers on their trade sites as you visit them with stock and provide stock demonstrations A roll up your sleeves mentality where everyone works as a team and contributes Job Offer If you are seeking a varied role with a highly successful company and want ongoing opportunity, this is a fantastic business to join.
