About the role Enerven’s Underground Residential Development (URD) team is currently expanding its delivery capacity with multiple positions now available to join our diverse team constructing the underground electrical, telecommunication and public lighting infrastructure for multiple large scale land development projects across South Australia. Under the leadership and direction of the Team Leader, Supervisor or Project Manager, your tasks will include the installation of: Underground High Voltage and Low voltage power cables and conduit systems Service Pits and Pillars Underground public lighting circuits, light columns, and switchboards In addition, you will be required to: Ensure that you follow safe work procedures at all times, use plant and equipment in a safe manner and wear safety protective clothing and apparel when required to do so Ensure safety rules and safe working practices are complied with Carry out the duties of an unrestricted Electrical worker (A class Electrician) Overtime and some travel intra-state and interstate will be required. About you You will bring a strong commitment to working safely, and the ability to learn new skills and adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies. You are a team player who encourages others to collaborate and find solutions, rather than problems. Essential requirements include: Working knowledge of AS3000 and the SA Power Networks Service and Installation Rules, NICC404 and TS085 Current South Australian Unrestricted Electrical workers registration Current SA drivers licence Beneficial, but not essential requirements include: Current High-risk licence - EWP over 11 meters MR or HR licence Experience hauling and terminating High voltage cables About us When we say we offer a great working environment that is what we mean – varied work, supportive leaders, genuine opportunities to progress your career and are proud of the reputation we’ve built for safety and wellbeing.
