Job Description: Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support their legal professionals, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This part-time role, requiring a commitment of four days a week, is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment. The role will see you working on a range of areas including some corporate and litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Manage and maintain electronic and physical filing systems. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. Assist with billing and invoicing processes. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Perform general administrative duties Qualifications: At least 5 years previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm. Proficiency in legal software. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
