Funds lawyer APAC HQ Melbourne CBD Our client, a global investments house is seeking a funds Lawyer to join the legal team at head office. This is a permanent autonomous role with a broad remit including: Reviewing, drafting, negotiating financial services and funds management contractual documentation such as distribution/platform agreements Drafting regulatory filings, contracts, memoranda, and position statements as well as other legal documents and instruments as necessary Advising on legal issues facing the business under the Corporations Act (Chapters 5C, 7) and other regulations Developing internal policy and procedure documentation Initiating and implementing new projects Participating in special projects The position would suit a lawyer with funds experience or a strong interest therein and a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained from a large commercial law firm or similar in-house environment.
