Knowledge, skills and expertise Clinical Practice High level knowledge, expertise and skill in Social Work assessment and risk management to complex psychosocial situations, as well as interventions and counselling for clients who have experienced sexual assault, domestic and family violence, and/or trauma, as recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post graduate education and/or formal qualifications. Communication Ability to provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding social work service delivery and improvement opportunities as it relates to delivery within the Department of Emergency Medicine. Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health safety and ethical behaviour. Leadership and Management Demonstrated experience in the development and completion of local service improvement initiatives and research activities. Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and direction to junior social work staff.
