What's the opportunity? We want a Product Designer who will deliver the best user experience for our customers, you will help steer the visual and interaction design of our software products and contribute to the Design System success. You will work across cross-functional teams to solve problems and conceptualise solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting children's wellbeing & safety and using technology, and find innovative ways to protect students' online activities. You will be motivated to embed yourself and design thinking firmly in the process of design with the product teams. You will be joining a small and growing team of talented designers, and will play a large part in the evolution of the business Here's how you'll do it: Design and develop design solutions that drive customer value for the business Own and improve user interface and component quality, and user experience standards that delight our customers and our business Contributes to an innovative culture within the organisation through continuous learning and improvement Work with and contribute to design direction and the growth/improvement of our design system Can work on initiatives end-to-end in liaison with stakeholders from Product and Engineering Lead & collaborate in ideation workshops utilising frameworks/processes such as Design Thinking and Design Sprints. Qualifications What will you bring? Can approach a problem, develop a plan, and execute the solution Enjoy working with multi-disciplined teams to communicate all aspects of product design, participating in peer review discussions and can give, receive and resolve constructive feedback across multiple perspectives. Flair for aesthetic and functional design, balancing consistency and creativity, divergent and convergent thinking to understand the impact of design outcomes on customer experience Understanding of design principles, methods & approaches to Product Design, Content Design and Research. You'll have: 2-5 years experience in a similar role across UX using Figma, Sketch and Adobe Experience of wireframing Experience with complex SAAS products Experience working with and contributing to a Design System Experience working with Product Managers and Engineers on feasibility, detailed design and finding solutions to complex problems. Good presentation skills Demonstrated experienced with conducting user testing and presenting research findings Bachelor Degree in Design / Diploma/Certificate in Design or similar (optional) Equivalent experience Additional Information Why choose Qoria?
