Graduate Engineer Brisbane (QLD), Richmond (NSW) The 2025 Graduate Engineering Program with Airbus in Australia Pacific is now accepting applications. About the role We are currently seeking recent Engineering Graduates who have a passion for aviation and technical challenges. As a Graduate Engineer working in this position at Airbus Australia Pacific, you will utilise your training and experience to help deliver Engineering solutions for Fixed Wing aircraft (C130J Hercules) and Rotary Wing Aircraft (ARH Tiger). This will range from design work to in-service support, and will give you the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of interesting tasks and challenging projects, working within a variety of our engineering teams. As one of our Graduate Engineers, you will be offered professional growth through a structured program where you will complete 3 rotations through different business units (8 months per rotation) across a two-year timeframe. Working alongside our Senior Engineers, Team Leads and Subject Matter Experts, you can gain exposure to different areas of the business and different phases of projects and will be able to develop a depth of knowledge in your chosen discipline. This provides a unique on-the-job training experience. During the Graduate Program, you can also utilise our internal mentoring scheme and attend courses tailored to help you further develop your technical and soft skills both in person and online. You will also have the opportunity to spend a week in our Deeper Maintenance team as part of your rotation. Specifically, you will be exposed to the following Engineering activities: Develop, review and manage Engineering tasks within your scope, including but not limited to advice, repairs and modifications Develop and approve Engineering tasks within your scope, including but not limited to technical investigations and improvements to instructions Support to continued operation of in-service products Develop and approve engineering advice and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness in accordance with the level and scope of delegated Engineering Authority Maintain data files, engineering records and electronic databases as required to accurately report and record engineering decisions About you To be successful in this role you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement. The skills and experience suited to this role: Recent Graduate with a passion for aerospace and aviation A Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software or similar discipline from a nationally accredited program or equivalent. High degree of personal and professional integrity Ability to work in a dynamic team environment; ability to work effectively with employees from other domains Ability and willingness to engage in investigation of technical issues, development and review of technical documents You must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy criminal history checks and pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing. As part of the Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various parts of the business, including the Deeper Maintenance aspects of our platforms and acquiring foundation engineering skills while working under the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) under the guidance of experienced and Specialist Engineers.
