Role Details: Position: Water Truck Driver Location: Katherine NT Start date: Immediate Duration: 3 months Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off | 12-hours a day Hourly rate: $44 per hour, with double time after 77 hours in a week Transport to and from Darwin provided each swing Accommodation and meals provided, staying at the Contour Hotel Weekly pay & superannuation Uniform requirements: Hard hat, shirt, shorts or long pants, boots Responsibilities: Contribute to Civil and Infrastructure projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Assist in maintaining equipment and tools. Uphold quality standards to meet project expectations. Operate the water truck to transport and distribute water across the construction site. Ensure water is delivered to specified locations as required for dust control and other site needs. Safely operate the water truck and all associated equipment. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Assist with dust suppression by evenly spraying water over designated areas. Aid in the compaction of soils by providing necessary water coverage. Ensure roads and pathways within the site are kept damp to reduce dust. Ideal Candidate: HR Licence White Card Previous experience in civil construction or related field preferred. Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent communication skills. TRACKS Integrated Services is an equal opportunity employer.
