We are a company with head office in werribee but we have our staff working in Geelong. Sometimes we need an employee to visit the offices in Geelong and help troubleshoot some issues. This is a casual and part time role and required only ON CALL basis. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support to our employees across all industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software and hardware, and maintaining computer systems and networks. Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues Install and configure software and hardware Maintain computer systems and networks Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues Document technical procedures and solutions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
