The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exist within Health Information Services to join us as an Manager, Paediatric Admissions and Paediatric Emergency Clerical Services, full time until 31st Dec 2024. Role Responsibilities: The Manager Paediatric Admissions and Paediatric Emergency Clerical Services is accountable for the provision of a comprehensive, consumer oriented and efficient service for: Paediatric Admissions Services and Paediatric Emergency Clerical Services Key objectives for the role are: Ensuring the teams are providing high quality customer service to our internal and external stakeholders Ensuring data capture and related activities are delivered to the highest standard Ensuring patient information is managed securely and in line with WCHN policies and procedures. Ensuring appropriate staff rostering in line with relevant awards and HR guidelines (Emergency clerical staff work on a seven day roster with variable shift times). Provision and maintenance of the on-call roster to support staff after hours. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in staff management, leadership, performance development and coordinating services. Significant experience in implementing and managing staff rosters. Significant experience in providing good customer service. Proven ability to liaise effective with a variety of staff within a large multidisciplinary team. Proven ability to lead and motivate staff working in a high pressure environment. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and prioritise own workloads as well as monitor the overall service delivery of the units within the role’s remit.
