Company Description The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney is the embodiment of chic style and sophistication. The hotel is located in The Rocks, close to Circular Quay. Our building is the home to many residents who we provide building services to, and commercial areas. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, whilst also ensuring all reservations queries are answered promptly. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare weekly forecast report detailing upcoming events and communicate same to all operating departments Attend the weekly BEO meetings and ensure their efficiency. Provide quotations for event proposals covering venue, function, menu costs ensuring revenue is maximized. Prepare and deliver event handover to operations team and ensure accuracy of information and effectively communicate handover to clients. Co-ordination and hosting of familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow up. Process and input reservations following hotel reservations policy. Handle all enquiries relating to bookings through either, email, phone or OTA platforms. Respond to all relevant parties and follow up with the client in a reasonable timeframe. Manage all group billing issues and resolve any account disputes, and liaise with Assistant Managers on account enquiries and disputes. Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates. Produce reports and statistics as requested, including group forecasts and business turndowns. Qualifications Bring with you previous sales experience. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential. Ideally have knowledge of OPERA and other sales systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner, a high standard of personal presentation The ability to produce an exemplary and consistent service to your clients.
