Queensland Rail has an exciting new role that has been created to oversee the track and civil reliability engineering outcomes for our business. We're seeking a Principal Reliability Engineer with a rail and reliability background and broad track and civil knowledge to provide detailed recommendations on the best approach to manage our full asset lifecycle based on outcomes identified via your in-depth engineering investigations and root cause analysis. As this is a new role you will be able to take lead and have the freedom to work on projects autonomously and develop a team that will truly make an impact. Location: The office is located in the Brisbane CBD with opportunity to visit various other to QR sites. Access to company vehicle during business hours for site visits will be available. Qualifications: Professional Bachelor of Mechanical or Civil Engineering qualification which is recognised under the Washington Accord or demonstrated by 'an entry to practice competently' having been awarded to you by Engineers Australia and accepted by Queensland Rail. Current Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ). A current drivers licence will also be ideal. Benefits: Permanent full time role with a company with over 150 years of history. Annual base salary ranges between $155,000 - $166,800 commensurate on preferred candidates experience and qualifications plus 12.75% Superannuation contribution.
