You will take the company van home at night and travel straight to the customer’s site each shift, sort your allocated freight into a run, load your vehicle and deliver the general freight to companies and residential addresses throughout the metropolitan region. We are looking for a person who can operate at a high level and deliver multiple consignments per an hour in a friendly and efficient manner. You will be part of a team that sorts freight into different runs, unloading freight from pallets and cages, scanning items, sorting items into different runs and delivering to an allocated area. In this role, you will be driving a two-tonne courier van delivering a high volume of general parcels (from 500g-25kg), occasionally freight can be over 25kgs. Please only apply if you're comfortable sorting freight into deliveries and doing high frequency stops.
