The Role As the Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a leading role in managing & preventing cyber threats. Working in a fully cloud-hosted environment (Azure), you will set & improve technical controls, improve cyber standards in products, support the MSP, manage incidents, vulnerabilities and configure remediation plans. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Cyber, you will make a significant impact on maturing the cyber posture of the organisation in a broad role. A core part of this role is working in azure - the ideal candidate will bring good experience of working in this platform, with responsibility for managing, configuring & monitoring all Microsoft Defender products. Skills & Experience What we're looking for from the ideal candidate: Dedicated experience as a Cyber Engineer/Analyst responsible for a breadth of technical tasks; Experience in azure environments is essential - as a fully cloud environment the business has a need for someone to be familiar with azure; Core experience working with Microsoft Defender & Sentinel products/suite; Demonstrable experience in developing cyber capabilities - threat hunting, vulnerability management, incident response, security assessments, patching, etc; and Prior experience as a Systems Engineer is desirable - combined with Cyber SME work.
