Temporary Full-Time Parental Leave Contract commencing Monday 16 September 2024 and concluding Tuesday 2 December 2025. We are seeking a suitably qualified Secondary English Teacher with a genuine love of English, literature and learning who is passionate about inclusive education for all students, irrespective of ability. You will be committed to the achievement of excellence as a classroom teacher; a strong collaborator; and, confident in effective pedagogy and classroom management. This position would suit a new or recent graduate who wishes to gain experience working in a well-supported, experienced and collegial English faculty. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy all of the following essential selection criteria: Essential Criteria A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition. Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice. Qualified to teach English - Stage 4 to Stage 6 with NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW. Commitment to excellence as a classroom practitioner. Ability to cater to a diverse range of learning needs through differentiation of curriculum.
