TAS Teacher (Textiles and Technology Mandatory) — North Sydney, North Sydney Area

Wenona is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated TAS teacher, specialising in Textiles and Technology Mandatory, to join our TAS faculty. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance. The Position Teaching Textiles and Technology Mandatory to students from grades 7 – 12. Committing to Pastoral Care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students. Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community. Collaborating and contribute to a team and faculty of professional educators. Utilising ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom. In additional to being a TAS Teacher, you will also be a Connect Teacher, which will require you to engage with a Connect group on a daily basis. This is a temporary full-time position, covering Term 3 & 4 2024, with the potential to extend. For more details about the role and requirements, please refer to the attached role description. About You To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and experience teaching Textiles and Technology Mandatory within the TAS space. You will display a strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and the marking processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. This will allow you to effectively educate and build strong relationships with our students, setting them up for future success.
