About the role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced administrative officer with a passion for excellence to assist the Office of the Work Health and Safety Prosecutor with the delivery of an effective prosecutions service, by providing administrative and business support, which is accurate, timely and professional. Key responsibilities - Manage and refer as appropriate internal and external stakeholder enquiries, including from client agencies, defence representatives, the Courts, external Counsel or technical experts.- Manage receipt of new briefs of evidence, maintain accurate and complete administrative records in the records management system and ensure the caseflow database is kept up to date in accordance with internal business rules and procedures.- Manage routine correspondence relating to administrative steps in the prosecution process, for example, sending Listings Event and Prosecution reports or weekly Court Diary reminders to stakeholders and filing documents in the Court registries.- Prepare and disseminate routine case-flow management reports to prosecutors.- Book travel and accommodation and process travel expense claims.- Keep various internal business support registers updated, manage archiving and office stationery requirements.- Work as a team with other administrative staff to ensure administrative tasks are managed efficiently in support of the prosecutions work and assist with the development, documentation and continuous improvement of administrative procedures. Special conditions - There are no mandatory qualifications for this role.- Highly desirable , Possesses current Queensland Driver's Licence; a recognised qualification in business administration and/or criminal justice or a related field.
