About the role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven individual to join the team. You will enjoy customer service and excel in effective, professional communication with an exceptional attention to detail. Ideally, you will have experience or interest and passion for machinery and the construction industry. Key Responsibilities for the role Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the depot/ showroom, ensure equipment is cleaned, function tested, fuelled and stored appropriately for pick up and drop offs. Receiving incoming equipment, conduct off hire check list, cooperate with workshop to assist with processing for inspections and servicing. Provide excellent customer service to both our existing clients and new clients with enquiries, quotes through to job bookings, completion and follow up. Reporting, invoicing, data entry, processing payments. Skills & experience Drivers licence required and forklift licence desirable. Previous yard/ depot experience and or knowledge of machinery/tools and construction equipment. Effective communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work within a team in a busy environment and can work in both the office and the depot. Willingness to work 1 weekends a month when required and enjoy 2-week days off. Experience in Office 365 suite, experience with Hiring Software desired.
