Gentrack is a 650 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centres are in London, Melbourne, Auckland, and Pune. This role is in our Australian sales team to find and win new projects with Energy retail customers who can benefit from our solutions. You will set sales strategies and account plans that help our customers meet their goals. You will build relationships with customers and partners and lead our commercial teams through a sales process. You will be able to build a value proposition and clearly articulate our to our customers at all levels of the organisation. You do not need to be "technical" but you do need to want to understand the detail of your customers business and how our technology helps. You ideally have knowledge of the Australian Energy industry and understand the financial structure of energy retail businesses and have a wide network in this industry. Additionally, you have experience with Salesforce and have worked with it in the past. Your key responsibilities are: Develop, execute and lead sales plans, account strategies and forecasts using our pipeline management process. Target, establish and develop strategic, executive, business relationships with energy companies to secure profitable new business in line with the business plan. Understanding how energy retail companies plan and budget to meet their strategic objectives. Identify opportunities to innovate with our customers in cleantech. Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current partners and alliances that work within our customers and markets. The measures of success are revenue and profitability, pipeline and customer satisfaction scores. To carry out your go to market strategies, you will be empowered to provide indirect leadership of Gentrack's delivery teams, solutions architects and pre-sales.
