Opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to take ownership in creating and implementing unique programs About the role At our Early Learning Centre, we provide a range of learning experiences for children aged between 3 and 5 years. We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to work Monday to Friday with shifts ranging from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The successful candidate will work alongside the Director, you will have the ability to implement contemporary teaching practices in relation to guiding children’s behaviour. We are paying above award rates starting from $40.64 per hour Salary Packaging options available to increase your take home pay. New graduates or those 50% or more working towards their ECT degree are encouraged to apply and will be supported with professional development opportunities. You will Work alongside the director to provide high-quality care and education. When required perform tasks associated with being a Responsible Person in Charge of the service. Ensure a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices. Be responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of programs in partnership with other Early Childhood Teacher. Create a fun and engaging environment through play and intentional experiences. Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families. The successful candidate will Have a bachelor’s degree of Education, Early Childhood and be accredited at minimal Provisional level with NESA. Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Have completed CHCPRT025 or previous - Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Have a current and valid Working with Children Check.
