Project Engineer — Niddrie, Moonee Valley

In existence for more than a decade, they are on an exciting growth trajectory in Australia. They are seeking a construction processional to join their Victorian team in a Project Engineer role. You will be provided with significant exposure and development opportunities. About the role Reporting to the General Manager - Construction, the Project Engineer will be responsible for: On-site coordination – pre-start checks and ongoing coordination with stakeholders/clients Develop delivery plans, ensuring that any anomalies are resolved, liaising with all internal and external stakeholders, making and driving decisions and setting objectives to achieve the project goals. Regularly monitor and review progress against plan (both financial and project) and if necessary, take action to mitigate delays and claims and bring the program back on track. Record all significant site events following the company agreed instructions and processes to ensure the terms of the contract are adhered to. Preparing and collating required contracts and purchase orders Ordering materials Processing monthly claims Administration of price variations Prepare and develop all necessary Method Statements, Quality Plans and Programs through to approval. Undertaking a range of administrative and coordination activities to support efficient project operations. Who we're looking for As a Project Engineer, you will have at least two-years site experience in the construction industry preferably as a Project Engineer, Site Manager or Foreman, with either a head-contractor or sub-contractor. You will be an all-rounder, with a basic understanding of drawings and design. You will be highly motivated, with an excellent work ethic, highly developed communication and listening skills and driven to deliver and exceed outcomes to further advance your career in the construction industry. The Offer The successful applicant will receive an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $100,000 - $110,000, plus Superannuation and a $20,000 Car Allowance.
