Early Childhood Teacher position at OAC Moonee Ponds leading the kindergarten program, working in collaboration with the children & team. The campus has a large outdoor area that wraps around the building, with two spacious yards available for age-appropriate outdoor learning. Additionally, the campus features its own unique sensory garden with a variety of edible plants, where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our on-site garden educator works alongside other educators to revolutionize the relationship children have with their food. The Playground to Plate program teaches children how to grow, prepare and share fresh seasonal food. Early Childhood Teacher (Kinder) role We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Moonee Ponds campus team to lead the Kindergarten Room This role will see you working in collaboration with the wider team to ensure our children are inspired to learn in a safe and inclusive learning environment. As an ECT, you will: Inspire children through play-based and interest focused activities Mentor a team of Educators through educational guidance Create meaningful partnerships with families, children, and educators to create positive outcomes for children Plan and program with support from the OAC Grow Curriculum and EYLF Ongoing records of the children's development Maintain an ongoing commitment to child safety and wellbeing in everyday practices.
