The Roles We have two positions available for experienced Carpenters as we continue to grow. Working alongside our close knit Base crew, you will work on a variety of assignments from design construct projects, turn-key office and shop fit outs, commercial building refurbishments and upgrades, de-fit and make good works, tenancy alterations and maintenance works and repairs. All of our work is referred, and we work with a brilliant group of engaged, repeat clients and a very strong pipeline of work, predominantly in the mental health consulting space. Our work is in the Brisbane CBD and surrounds, with some regional and interstate projects. This role includes all aspects of carpentry, commercial building and maintenance/repairs, supporting by an exceptional operations and construction management team. For example, you will:- · Construct partition walls and suspended ceilings. Hang doors, fit locks, skirtings · Install various types of decorative feature wall cladding and feature ceilings · Install custom joinery and furniture, and provide maintenance works You You will be an very experienced Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years being preferred. A background in commercial building and maintenance would be an advantage but we also welcome applications from residential carpenters seeking to move into the commercial space. We are seeking relationships driven tradesmen with a good sense of humour and positive outlook to match with our team. You may be a contractor seeking better work conditions, or you might be a sole trader who wants to join a highly collaborative, professional and fun team with a consistent pipeline of work. A trade background with QBCC licence, your own tools, drivers licence and own work vehicle will be essential. Experience in designconstruct projects would be an advantage. Contractors and carpentry gangs are also encouraged to submit expressions of interest, if you are seeking some project work in between your other commitments. With an organised, practical approach, you will be willing to share your knowledge with a team of motivated young carpenters. Weekend work is available for those seeking additional overtime hours and outside of hours work (before 6am or after 5pm) is required on occasion.
