Location: Upwey The hours include 2 sessions per week, 10 hours contact time 5 hours non-contact time. Total of 15 hours per week. Working on Thursday and Friday Contracted until 26th January 2025 Award: VECTEA Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The teacher will provide leadership while working as a member of a cooperative team. Develop a high-quality educational program in consultation with families, children, Educators. Key functions include the development of a high-quality developmentally appropriate, educational program for children with a commitment to the active involvement of families and the local community. The program is to be developed in consultation with YRKI and the parents of the children attending. The Early Childhood teacher will ensure that the kindergarten meets the DET Victorian Kindergarten Policy, Procedures, and Funding Criteria requirements, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, VEYLDF (Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework)and the policies and procedures of YRK. Work in accordance with the standards outlined in the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) Code of Ethics, the Victorian Institute (VIT) Code of conduct and YRKI 's Code of Conduct and Child Safety Code of Conduct.
