About the role The role is a professional engineering role designing and developing flight and ground based electrical and electronic systems and working through the complete project delivery. You will be working with other engineers to adapt your designs to integrate with other systems, and therefore the ability to write and communicate effectively will be a key aspect of the role. The role is located in Canberra, ACT and requires mainly on-site attendance as it is a hardware development role. Relocation assistance is available. Role Purpose As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Designing, developing, and implementing electrical/electronics systems and solutions • Participating in the entire product development cycle, from design to testing to deployment • Mentoring junior engineers and working closely with the design team to ensure that the electrical subsystems are integrated with other systems and meet the overall requirements. Important Information: Must have Australian Permanent Residence or Australian citizenship . Access to technology controlled under USA ITAR is required so your nationality history may limit eligibility. Based in the Canberra office and is unsuitable for remote workers .
