This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects related to natural stone. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Collaborate with the product design team to develop detailed interior design plans and layouts for stone products like kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanity tops, and wall cladding, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Utilize advanced design software to create precise and innovative design drafts and plans, incorporating stone materials and estimating costs for each project accurately. Assist in preparing project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and interior design regulations specific to stone fabrication and installation. Engage in design discussions with clients and stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the beauty and functionality of interior spaces while staying within budget constraints. Contribute to refining design processes and standards for interior projects involving stone materials, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate closely with fabrication and installation teams, such as stone masons, to ensure design intentions are realized and projects are completed on schedule and within budget, achieving high-quality installations. Support in generating project reports, presentations, and documentation that illustrate design concepts and their execution concerning stone products. Maintain well-organized records of design plans and revisions, highlighting stone materials, design elements, and cost details for effective project management and communication. Qualifications and Skills: At least a Diploma in Interior Designer or related field. A minimum of two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a Superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
