Engineer Software Brisbane The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane in a permanent full-time role. In this interesting and varied role, you will be responsible for providing Software Engineering and support for design solutions for software products developed for local Airbus Australia Pacific and Airbus global business objectives. You will be responsible for: Building tools simulating aircraft avionics interfaces with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment Working within an agile software framework, interfacing with Airbus teams in Europe Supporting other software projects such as aircraft mission planning software and AR/VR projects Provide mentoring and support to team members Maintain data files, engineering records and electronic databases as required to accurately report and record engineering decisions Comply with relevant Quality and Engineering plans, processes and procedures as required (Quality Management System and Engineering Management System) About you To be successful in this role you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement. The skills and experience suited to this role: 5 years' experience working as a Software Developer.
