Permanent role in manufacturing for a licensed electrician with experience in breakdown recovery, repairs, & installations, who is technically astute. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : The purpose of this position is to drive, develop, and deploy maintenance procedures and activities throughout a manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be ensuring that corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance exercises are carried out through prompt actions targeting the reduction of unplanned breakdowns. Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required as the successful applicant will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders across the business in gathering technical information associated with functions of the role. About You: You must be a NSW Licensed Industrial Electrician with significant hands on experience in time critical industrial break down repairs, and have familiarity with automation and control systems. You think, plan, and act with the safety of yourself and those you work with in mind. Hand & power tools, testing equipment, calibration techniques and the utilisation of computers are second nature to you. Desirable Attributes: Certificate IV in Engineering (Maintenance) equivalent or greater. Contractor management and continuous improvement history.
