Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH896704 This is a six (6) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 with possible extension and/or permanency Darling Range Sports College (SC), an Independent Public School, is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Technologies Teacher who can inspire students to engage in curriculum, strive for excellence and is proactive in improving student outcomes. The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and have ability to provide students with the highest quality curriculum delivery and programs within the Technologies Learning Area. Ideally, the successful applicant will have a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and experience teaching in both metalwork and woodwork. As an educator, you would have proven skills in behaviour management, contemporary knowledge and a proven record of professional engagement. Technologies staff at Darling Range SC are fortunate to work in a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2021. Teachers and students have access to modern workshops with industry level machines and current computer design programs. Darling Range SC is located approximately 15 kms east of the Perth city centre in the foothills of Perth. The College is experiencing rapid growth and is seen as a school of choice by the local community and by students from across the state who enrol in our specialist sports programs. Darling Range SC is a specialist Sports College - the first and only sports school in Western Australia. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy.
