ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE: The Casual Customer Service Officer performs an integral role in the functioning of our general administration tasks for the hospital. The role involves providing customer service at our main reception desk. This is a multi-skilled role covering a broad range of administrative duties, including reception, bookings and discharge. The successful applicant will be responsible for; Managing general telephone enquiries and front reception desk Manage the clerical administration of Patient Episodes of care from bookings to discharge, including pre admission and admission. Collection of out of pocket expenses and process banking Experience in scanning medical records Provide high quality customer service to patients, colleagues and the public Health Fund checking This role requires flexibility and availability to work at short notice within a 24 hour, 7 day a week rotating roster.
