Due to their Property & Development Group's growth and success, they are seeking to appoint a Practice Group Manager to optimise its legal support services. About the role… In this dynamic and ‘hands on’ role, your duties will include, but not be limited to: Legal Support Management : manage the legal support staff, recruitment, rosters, workloads & performance Practice Group support : act as first point of contact, collaborate with Group Lead to manage fee earners, learning and development, legal software management, invoicing & costing of files Liaison to Business Services : including Finance (e.g. time sheets, matter estimates), People & Culture (e.g. staffing, onboarding), Risk & Legal (e.g. information owner for Group's security management system) and Business Development (e.g. tenders) About you… To be successful in this role you must have previous experience within a Property & Development department of a mid to large-sized firm . You will also be able to demonstrate: Broad knowledge of a Property & Development practice Minimum 3-4 years' supervisory/management experience Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Experience with CaseFlow and FileSite (or equivalent), as well as PEXA Client-centred approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-drive and accountability Ability to anticipate and solve both operational and strategic issues Team oriented and solutions-focussed attitude What’s on offer is a genuine opportunity to grow your career with a leading Melbourne practice and enjoy an attractive remuneration package, wide range of employee benefits and inclusive team culture.
