Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Training Administrator to join our Training, Culture & Facilities Management team at SPARK North East Link D&C. The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the team's success through quality, efficient, and effective training administrative planning and support for managers and the wider project team. Key Responsibilities: Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate training records for the project. Administer HR/training records, including data entry into applicable training systems. Business Performance: Upload competencies into Damstra. Schedule training to address identified gaps. Support the Senior Training Advisor with organizing and tracking project training. Ensure attendance register sheets are issued, completed, and returned for every training session. Assist the People & Culture team with HR/training initiatives. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the People & Capability administrative function and with project team members. Leadership: Support a culture of engagement, competence, and high performance. Demonstrate effective training leadership and promote best practices. Encourage innovative ideas and practical delivery of T&D initiatives. Key Stakeholders: Internal: Training Team People & Capability Team Wider project delivery team External: Subcontractors Suppliers Consultants Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in training administration or similar roles. Preferably experienced in the rail, transport, construction, mining & resources, or engineering industries (project experience). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understanding of relevant statutes and legislation (e.g., environmental legislation, Fair Work Act, agreements, and relevant awards). Knowledge of industrial relations frameworks. Familiarity with risk management and compliance procedures and processes. Proficiency with computer systems relevant to the area of work. Ability to read and understand plans, review design documentation, and implement final plans.
