Job Description We’re seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to review and maintain operational processes of our Logistics and Fulfilment team that ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and licensing requirements. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organised and methodical professional, who has the experience necessary to take this function to a level commensurate with an industry leading organisation. Key Responsibilities: Maintain an up to date knowledge of the regulatory environment in which Montu operates and proactively communicate changes with internal stakeholders. Coordinate and maintain all relevant company licences for all warehousing facilities. Manage the process of obtaining licences for new sites including providing advice on the location and fit out of the site in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provides support to Logistics and Fulfilment teams in the lead up to and during relevant government agency audits or inspections and manages the completion any resulting corrective actions. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Provide timely and accurate advice to internal stakeholders on compliance matters relevant to your portfolio. Support the Head of Compliance and Assurance by Actively assist in identifying any compliance incidents or gaps occurring within your portfolio and initiate corrective and preventative actions as required Draft, review and update policies, procedures and other documents as required. Preparing written correspondence such as letters and reports regarding compliance activities, associated recommendations and follow up actions as required. Engage in capability building activities, designed to build understanding and application of of the regulatory/compliance framework in which Montu operates, including through education Coordinate and drive agreed compliance projects
