The Position We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service and Administration Manager to lead our team and drive our commitment to delivering premium service. Reporting to the General Manager, your duties will include: Review all internal processes and ensure SOP or step by step procedures are maintained and or completed Manage and ensure staff are aware and have full knowledge and understanding of processes by way of training, continuous reviews, and development Train and develop distribution team with the aim to deliver operational excellence across the company Transport scheduling and fleet allocation Manage and responsible for daily tasks, assign workload to team, ensuring that all cut-offs and agreed deliveries are met Regularly investigate and resolve operational challenges, including disruptions, delays, customer complaints, internal processes between departments to identify the root cause and resolve High emphasis on customer service and providing customers a premium service at all times Engage with all accounts/account managers to ensure the Distribution team are governing all administrative requirements associated with customer accounts Ability to review and identify process gaps with background investigation and accelerate continuous improvements and company transformation Implement processes that promote the reduction of operational cost and waste Be involved with new system implementations and project rollouts with team. The Candidate The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their experience within warehousing and logistics as well as the following: Proven track record of leading and managing a customer service team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/ CRM software 3PL/4PL - contract logistics in multiuser facility, warehouse, transport experience is highly regarded This position is based in Altona and offers flexible working hours.
