Achieve are looking for a 2IC Warehouse Operator in Cairns. This is an immediate start position. You will be responsible for helping to unload the semi trailers full of parcels, boxes and various sized items. The packages will be loaded onto a conveyer belt and fed down to a team who will be sorting them at the other end. Some trucks/trailers will be manually hand unloaded and loaded and some will be loaded by forks. You will be helping in the office with paperwork, invoicing, receipting of goods, answering the phone and doing general emails. You will be responsible for making sure the site office and the warehouse run smoothly and are kept clean and clear for work. Safety in and around the workplace is paramount. You will need to have a fair level of fitness for this role as it is all hands on deck getting the parcels unloaded and loaded again for delivery. If you have a forklift ticket that would be favourable. You will need to have the ability to work alongside a diverse workforce.
