Technology Strategy Lead- Legal Operations — Victoria, Australia

The Opportunity This is an Associate Director level role. Reporting to the Global Head Legal Operations, you will provide strategic direction and support for developing and implementing CSL Legal's technology plan, with a focus on increasing efficiency and effectiveness. You will oversee and optimize the technology processes and solutions of the wider Legal function ensuring that our systems are up-to-date, secure, and reliable, and are following industry best practices. The Role You will manage the wider Legal team's technology platforms, sourcing and evaluating new technology solutions and ensuring the technology framework is best in class. By leading the implementation, administration, and support of the Legal team's technology platforms, you will bring system cohesiveness and future thinking to Legal's technology landscape. Responsibilities: Align with global partners on business needs and opportunities to develop a long-term vision and an actionable roadmap for a Legal technology roadmap. Develop, and deliver on the technology roadmap, with a focus on driving operational efficiencies and innovation. Collaborate with I&T Business Partners to ensure system and roadmap alignment. Collaborate with internal and external teams on technical solution design and delivery. Oversee the implementation and administration of the enterprise-wide Contract Lifecycle Management tool, the Legal Service Delivery system, and the Enterprise Legal Management platform. Source and implement new software. Manage relationships with software vendors and technology service providers. Develop efficient, user-friendly, and integrated processes and systems. Oversee complex integrations and lead large-scale data migration efforts. Apply advanced analysis and technical expertise to complex problems. Understand emerging technologies and how they can be incorporated into the future roadmap. Your skills and experience Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA or equivalent preferred Additional Legal Tech degree and PMP or similar certification preferred Project Management Skills are a plus Six Sigma or Agile development experience is a plus 7 years of experience managing global legal systems, developing and implementing project roadmaps and systems Experience with every part of the development life cycle - from requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment Experience with APIs or integration middleware Experience with change management and developing efficient systems and process improvements with a high user satisfaction rating International travel up to 10% may be required Our Benefits CSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
