As such we are now looking for a Loader Operator, Supply Chain based at our distribution site in West Richmond. Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Manager, the Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor will be an integral member of the bakery distribution team, responsible for overseeing the day to day process of the distribution team including bakery network organisation, picking and packing orders for our customers, ensuring timely dispatch and working toward KPIs. The roel will include leading and developing a team of up to 15 staff on shift. The available shift pattern is: Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm Responsibilities include: Managing all aspects of warehouse logistics and dispatch Managing a team of up to 15 staff Picking and boxing of orders to meet KPI's to specified targets Loading and unloading trucks Adhering to safety & food safety procedures and company policies Maintaining a clean and tidy work area Meeting deadlines in a busy work environment Keeping timely and accurate records of work activity Undertaking housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Mimimum 2 years leadership experience At least 3 years proven experience in supply chain/manufacturing Ability to communicate and interact with all types of people Self-motivated and enthusiastic Maintain accountability & responsibility within self & team Computer skills – Microsoft Office Logical, analytical and problem solving abilities Planning and organising experience In return for all the above you will be joining an established team within a large FMCG organsation during a time of growth and development, you will be offered a competitive salary and support to succeed.
